We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Duties
Analyse complex business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation using data analysis skills and analysis techniques.
Develop comprehensive reports and visualisations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
Support project management activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, execution, and delivery phases.
Design and maintain databases, ensuring efficient database design using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL scripting.
Create detailed process diagrams and documentation with Visio to facilitate understanding of workflows and system architecture.
Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards using VBA, R, Python, Bash (Unix shell), enhancing data accessibility and real-time decision-making.
Collaborate with technical teams on database management tasks including database design, optimisation, and maintenance.
Assist in gathering requirements from stakeholders to develop customised solutions that meet business needs.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables adhere to established timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within a data-driven environment.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell).
Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management principles.
Extensive knowledge of database systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL scripting.
Demonstrated ability in business analysis techniques and database design principles.
Excellent analysis skills with the capacity to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
Familiarity with Visio for process mapping and documentation purposes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
