Role Overview
We are looking for a
Graduate Quantitative Analyst
to join our R&D team at our Worcester headquarters. This role supports inventory and supply chain operations across multiple product categories, including
floor care, garden care
, and expanding ranges such as
hair care and power tools
.
You will use data and analytical insight to monitor stock performance, forecast demand, and support purchasing and warehouse planning decisions. Working closely with
Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Warehouse teams
, your analysis will directly influence inventory purchasing, warehouse capacity planning, and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse stock levels to identify risks such as overstock, shortages, and slow-moving products
Forecast sales demand and stock requirements to support purchase order planning
Provide data-driven recommendations to support inventory purchasing decisions
Assist with warehouse space planning and capacity optimisation
Produce and maintain weekly operational and performance reports
Develop and maintain
Power BI dashboards
to track inventory performance and key supply chain metrics
Use
SQL and Microsoft Excel
to extract, clean, and analyse data from multiple data sources
Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting for Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Warehouse teams
Communicate insights, trends, and risks clearly to management and internal stakeholders
Occasionally build simple analytical models or forecasts using
R or Python
Tools & Technologies
SQL (basic querying and data extraction)
Microsoft Excel (data analysis and reporting)
Power BI (dashboard development and basic DAX)
R / Python (used occasionally for forecasting and analytical modelling)
About You
A recent graduate in
Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with data and translating insights into practical business recommendations
Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to develop a career in
supply chain and analytics
Salary & Benefits
28,000 - 35,000 per annum
