Role Purpose:
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders and colleagues in the Digital Information Systems team to elicit, analyse, and translate business equirements into clear technical specifications. You will play a critical role in delivering key initiatives that enhance business processes, optimise the use of business application software, and enable data-driven decision-making through insightful reporting.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Experience with defining requirements and making business recommendations.
Proficient in using data to draw business insights.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to solving complex problems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
Detail orientated and capable of delivering accurate and high-quality work.
Experience in managing multiple priorities, initiating tasks proactively and seeing them through to completion.
Interest in learning and adopting new technical skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power BI, Power Automate), and Dynamics 365 (CRM Sales, Finance & Operations) advantageous.
The Key Responsibilities of this Role will be:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate current business processes to drive performance and efficiency.
Work closely with developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions against requirements and ensure that deliverables meet business expectations.
Create and maintain process flow charts, diagrams and other project documents.
Support the implementation of new processes and change management.
Project & Workstream Management
Conduct gap analyses and cost-benefit evaluations to support project planning and prioritisation.
Plan and lead assigned workstreams, ensuring timely progress and delivery.
Track and manage work items using Azure DevOps.
Measure and evaluate benefits realisation.
Data & Reporting
Analyse and interpret data to inform business decisions.
Understand analytics needs by the business and stakeholders and translate those needs into specifications for Power BI report development.
Validate Power BI reports, ensuring accuracy of data sources, calculations, and effective visualisations.
