In this role you will add value by

  • Be responsible for performing licensee compliance audits for all Disney lines of businesses (Merchandise and Publishing) throughout Europe.
  • Work autonomously on site at Licensees\xe2\x80\x99 offices across Europe to conduct contract compliance audits. This involves understanding systems and data flows as well as the critical product creation processes.
  • Produce reports and assessments on royalties completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Planner in the preparation of Audit Files, collating financial records, contracts, and other information related to the Licensees from different systems and teams within Disney.
  • Collaborate with external audit firms to conclude the audits performed on Disney behalf
  • Collaborate with audit teams in other regions when required
The experience we ask that you have
  • Experience in a large public accounting firm or in retail analytics, with Internal Audit or similar work experience in Consumer Products or Media
  • Optional: Hold ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent English is essential and English writing skills must be excellent
  • Fluency in another European language (German, Spanish, Italian, French or Polish)
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Extensive knowledge of complex internal controls and accounting systems and processes.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly understand business areas and evaluate issues and propose solutions.
  • Able to build trust and confidence within the company and with third party licensees.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, organize own workload, work efficiently and independently.
