Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a range of projects, work closely with key stakeholders, and play a vital role in delivering impactful business change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:





Gathering and Translating Business Requirements - The Business Analyst must work with stakeholders to assess, capture, analyse and fully define the requirements for a particular project or change the business needs. Requirements Evaluation - The Business Analyst plays a key role in assessing the impact and effectiveness of change initiatives, delivering recommendations to senior business stakeholders. Stakeholder Management - Developing and maintaining a strong relationship between key business stakeholders and the Business Analyst is essential, ensuring that Business Analysis is viewed and promoted as an indispensable component in ensuring changes are approached, considered, and evaluated appropriately. Interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

What We Need From You:





Proven experience in a Business Analysis role, demonstrating the ability to analyse and improve business processes. Experience of working within the insurance sector - beneficial. Skilled in producing project artefacts such as Business Requirement Documents, with clear definition of requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with project scope and objectives. Excellent attention to detail Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Confident working with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Experience of successfully running meetings and facilitating workshops with business and IT stakeholders. Knowledge and experience of systems analysis, software, and infrastructure integration. Constructing process models. Resolving complex requirement conflicts through effective stakeholder engagement. Experience using process mapping tools, such as Microsoft Visio - beneficial ISEB (or equivalent) Business Analyst certification or working towards - beneficial Knowledge of Jira and PRINCE2 methodologies - beneficial
