We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.

Role summary





The Business Analyst serves as a link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating strategic business objectives and operational needs into detailed, actionable requirements for system development and process improvements. This role is crucial for ensuring that technology investments align with and support the Kaplan Assessment's goals.

What you'll bring to the role



Experience working on the delivery of multiple projects in a matrix systems environment. Comfortable in coordinating and facilitating workshops and negotiating with up to 10 stakeholders. Skilled at uncovering true business needs, identifying solution options, and presenting proposals delivering business benefits. Confident at presenting ideas and recommendations. Experience developing and maintaining business process maps Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal translation of technology to business terms. Target-driven and focused on owning a business solution delivery timeline. A team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others. Willing to travel to UK and Asia / South Africa offices if required. Self-organising and customer / end-user delivery focused. An understanding of data governance frameworks and protocols. An understanding of ITIL processes and standards.

Kaplan is a provider of world-leading professional assessments. In 2018, we were appointed as the independent assessment organisation for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), which we then launched in 2021. This exam is now the sole route to qualifying as a Solicitor of England and Wales and will ultimately be taken by upwards of 13,000 candidates per year.
