About the role



Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our growing team in London.

What you'll be doing



Analyse and interpret business needs by liaising with stakeholders to

understand their requirements.
Develop and propose IT solutions that align with business goals and

strategies.
Lead requirements gathering sessions and ensure comprehensive

documentation.
Model and redesign business processes to increase efficiency and reduce

costs.
Design and implement prototypes for proposed solutions, facilitating an

agile development environment.
Employ both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage projects through

to completion.
Influence decision-making through clear presentation of findings and

recommendations.
Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously,

ensuring timely completion.
Adapt solutions in response to evolving business needs and technological

advancements.
Facilitate communication between IT and other departments to ensure

alignment and understanding of IT projects and strategies



Who we're looking for



Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential. Strong skills in requirements management, systems analysis, and process

modelling are required.
Emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills are necessary to

effectively gather user requirements and convey technical information to


non-technical stakeholders
