Business Analyst - London Market Insurance

Introduction

Wipro is looking for a Business Analyst with London Market Insurance and Guidewire implementation experience within the Insurance Practice. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the Insurance Domain Consulting practice. The role will have a primary focus on the delivery of one of our core strategic deals, whilst also contributing to the wider development of our Insurance practice.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst - London Market Insurance, you will

  • Be responsible for information gathering, analysis and business requirements definition for the London Market landscape
  • Elicit requirements using appropriate methods such as interviews or workshops
  • Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from project stakeholders
  • Participate in change management including raising change requests, liaising with external suppliers, assisting with test and release planning, updating the CM database
  • Manage external and internal stakeholders
  • Be the single point of contact and liaison between business users, external suppliers and technical support teams
  • Understand and document process flows within the business in order to identify potential efficiencies and suggest improvements, challenging business users where appropriate
  • Report and raise risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Responsibilities also include supporting Testing activities - Document scenarios, review test cases and participate in defect triages
  • Carry out functional testing and assist with UAT
  • Define clear business rules
  • Conduct due diligence where applicable
  • Produce detailed specifications, including user stories, data tables and process maps
  • Provide process and technical expertise onregulatorycommunication implementations
  • Support IT development, configuration, training and testing
  • Support project implementations and business readiness
Mandatory Skills
  • Experience in London Market implementation is a must
  • Preferred - experience in Guidewire IPLM (Innovative Platform for London Market) implementation
  • Experienced in Property, Casualty and Motor Insurance
  • Knowledge of Policy and Claims Management
  • Previous experience in requirements analysis/ capturing, documenting user stories, acceptance criteria etc.,
  • Good understanding of analysis methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users
  • Self-motivated with good organisational and planning skills,
  • Should be able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure business objectives are achieved
  • Methodical in approach and strong documentation skills, clear attention to detail
  • Agile experience would be an advantage
