About the Role
We're seeking a versatile and motivated
Business Analyst (BA)
to join our dynamic team at
Elmhurst Energy
. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex business needs into actionable solutions while taking ownership of project delivery from start to finish.
You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse processes, and manage project timelines -- ensuring every solution we deliver supports Elmhurst's position as a leader in the building energy rating industry.
What You'll Be Doing
Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
Develop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirement documents.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to define and align project goals.
Support the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and functional specifications.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are met.
Lead project delivery -- creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Analyse industry trends, legislation, and system performance to inform process improvements.
About You
You're proactive, organised, and confident in communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You enjoy problem-solving, managing multiple projects, and driving improvements across teams.
Essential skills and experience:
Previous experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent documentation and analytical abilities.
Understanding of software development lifecycles and project management principles.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
