We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and the business, ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals. This position requires a strong understanding of data analysis, project management, and various software tools to facilitate effective decision-making.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies
Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Assist in the design and implementation of database solutions, ensuring optimal performance with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing input during all phases of development
Create detailed project plans and manage timelines to ensure successful project delivery
Utilise programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data analysis tasks
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
Employ analysis skills to evaluate business processes and recommend improvements
Use Visio for process mapping and documentation
Qualifications
Proven experience in business analysis or a related field
Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and manipulation
Familiarity with database design principles
Proficiency in VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks is advantageous
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly
