Job Description

MYCO are looking for an office based (Ipswich) Business Analyst (BA) / Product Owner to support the development and implementation of a new administration software platform. This person will work closely with the Software Product Manager and various stakeholders to analyse the organisations business processes, define requirements and drive process improvements.

The role will involve gathering and documenting requirements, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure that business and project goals are met. This role will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and helping implement changes that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Gathering & Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project objectives, and translate them into functional specifications. Process Mapping & Improvement: Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform business decisions, identify trends, and assess performance. Solution Design & Documentation: Develop solutions to business problems, create detailed documentation, and ensure clear communication of solutions to both technical and non-technical teams. Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, monitoring, and implementing business initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring all parties understand requirements, objectives, and outcomes. Testing & Quality Assurance: Support the testing process by defining test scenarios, performing testing, and ensuring that implemented solutions meet the specified requirements. Reporting & Monitoring: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other business analytics tools to provide ongoing monitoring and assessment of business performance.

Skills and Qualifications:



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

This is an office based position so you must be easily able to travel to and from the office which is based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Some travel to suppliers and more importantly, to our software developers (also based in Ipswich) may be required.

Salary is dependant on experience.

MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.K.



Successful candidates may be subject to a DBS.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
