Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within the set timelines and budgets. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage finance-related projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations. Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to stay on track. Conduct regular meetings with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns. Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and outcomes for senior management review. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle. Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations.

Experience

Proven experience in finance project management or a similar role within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing diverse teams. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Relevant qualifications in finance or project management (e.g., ACCA, PMP) are desirable but not essential.
