Purpose of the Role






Savills Place Savills Place is a team of over 30 place shaping and marketing experts specialising in connecting communities with their places. This role will focus on British BIDs, the industry membership body which provides a range of services.

This role has two primary functions;

To assist in all aspects of the operations of the assigned portfolio of serviced BIDs with a view to income generation through both maintaining and expanding the portfolio. To help to promote and to support with the delivery and development of British BIDs and its membership support services, projects and events. Thereby enhancing leads and income generation.



Key Responsibilities






Business Development support function to increase the serviced BIDs portfolio by promoting services to other BIDs.

Lead on the Edgware BID delivery contract.

Support in the delivery, development and growth of British BIDs services and projects including tenders and proposals.

Support serviced BIDs' operational staff to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with business plans and be their main point of contact.

Support serviced BIDs in meeting financial budgets and timescales and support in producing annual budgets, action plans and KPIs.

Attendance at relevant serviced BID board meetings.

Liaison with BID Directors to ensure company returns and documentation are completed as required.

Supporting serviced BIDs and Savills in the recruitment of new staff. Arrangement of agreed multi-site team meetings and facilitation of online managed BID get togethers

Support with the financial management, budgeting and reforecasting of British BIDs/Savills Place.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience



Candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:

Essential



Excellent knowledge of BIDs and the BID industry. A profile and network within the BID industry. Experience of managing a BID or being involved in BID project delivery. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. A proven focus on target achievement. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. An ability to work under pressure and multitask to achieve set targets and maintain standards. Flexibility and a can-do attitude. Team player. Outgoing personality with ability to form strong business relationships. IT Literate, particularly in Microsoft Office. Ability to work on one's own initiative, with communication of activities back to Line Manager. Ability to always work with professionalism and integrity. Financial management experience. Ability to problem solve. Excellent attention to detail. Report and submission writing skills. Good interpersonal skills. A willingness to travel, with some overnight stays as required.

Confident in presenting and public speaking.
