The Charity is looking to appoint a Business Applications Manager, responsible for the delivery management and maintenance of the business applications portfolio and line of business applications suite, Access. The role is also responsible for ensuring a high quality of information governance across SJOG and to provide information, advice and guidance on the operation of Data Protection policies and principals to staff where appropriate.

Managing a broad selection of business applications, defining the service delivery of the primary ERP software, and a catalogue of operationally aligned apps.

The role will manage both the internal business relationship with Heads of department and the external strategic relationship with the vendors. Defining the business application roadmap strategy, service delivery and support model.

Leading project management and implementation delivery of software application projects and incremental version releases. Promoting the application roadmap, features and functionality aligned to the business development plan, ensuring that the maximum benefits are adopted and supported.

Mapping the application workflow management and working in partnership with business leaders to ensure process alignment, value and efficiency are fully obtained from our application investments. Building a credible strategic engagement and partnership with business sponsors to deliver a continuous improvement programme.

Managing a legacy estate of mixed architecture and services, you will assist with the transition and migration support of the new tiered architecture model and modernisation project. Managing and overseeing the transition of service migration between legacy and new networks.

The role will manage the current BAU Business applications team and business helpdesk requirements, whilst also supporting the development backlog and project priorities.

Maintaining the business application catalogue, test management and release schedule.

Define and deliver the business applications policies and procedures, including security, data protection and disaster recovery. Managing direct relationships with service providers and support resources.
