At Royal London Group, we're shaping strategy that drives impact.

As a Business Architect, you'll be at the heart of enterprise transformation--partnering with CIOs, Heads of Change, and senior leaders to design and deliver strategic change across the Group. You'll guide the development of operating models, align business and technology, and help unlock value from every change investment.

We're looking for a strategic thinker and an inclusive collaborator who thrives on complexity. You'll influence enterprise direction, shape architecture across domains, and support transformation programmes that drive growth, optimise cost, and reduce risk.

Responsibilities

Shape Strategy

Define and embed Group-wide business and IT architecture, translating strategic goals into actionable models and investment decisions.

Drive Change

Design future-ready operating models and capabilities, guiding transformation across enterprise domains and programmes.

Champion Innovation

Use design thinking and systems thinking to deliver customer-centric solutions and support continuous improvement.

Bridge Business & Tech

Align business value streams, operations, change and IT to enable agility, resilience, and speed to value.

Lead Governance & Risk

Support architecture governance, risk management and assurance, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and risk appetite.

What you'll bring

Proven experience in business architecture, strategy formulation, and operating model design. Strong stakeholder engagement skills--able to influence at CIO and senior leadership level. Expertise in capability modelling, value streams, journey mapping and business process design. Familiarity with EA tools and frameworks (e.g. ArchiMate, LeanIX, Orbus). Commercial awareness, a growth mindset, and a passion for inclusive collaboration. Ability to navigate complex environments and communicate with clarity and impact.
