We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with children, providing tailored support in various subjects, and fostering a positive learning environment. Experience with special education is advantageous, as we aim to cater to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in designated subjects. Develop individualised lesson plans that meet the specific needs of each student. Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and areas for improvement. Create an engaging and supportive atmosphere that encourages students to ask questions and participate actively. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Collaborate with other educators and specialists to enhance the learning experience for students with special educational needs.

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of various ages. Strong understanding of educational practices and strategies that promote effective learning. Experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and their families. A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, fostering a supportive environment for all learners.
