A superb opportunity has arisen for a pro-active and personable team Business Assistant to join a fast-growing insurance firm based in the City.

This new role will support the Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer and his Heads Off Underwriting (x5). Whilst this is a traditional support role, it will be varied, combining diary & travel coordination, event management and stakeholder management.

About the role



Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Scheduling and coordinating a large volume of internal and external meetings, ensuring all necessary resources and documentation are available Assisting with meeting coordination including booking meeting rooms, organising any AV, and catering requirements in advance Organising and managing a high volume of team events, such as quarterly team building offsites and all networking activities internally and externally Assisting with travel arrangements via Concur including transport, accommodation (and visas) for domestic and international travel Processing and submitting expenses/mileage claims for the team via Concur Submitting requests for gifts and hospitality claims for the team via Concur Creating purchase orders and processing invoices via NetSuite to ensure goods and services are delivered on time Preparing PowerPoint presentations and other materials Following up and responding to invites on behalf of the team Working closely with and supporting the other Underwriting assistants when required Providing cover for the Underwriting assistants when they are away Providing other general administrative assistance as and when required


About you





Preference will be given to applicants with proven expertise in the required competencies:

3+ years proven work experience in a team support role for multiple stakeholders 2+ years proven event management experience 2+ years global diary and travel management experience An initiative-taker requiring minimal supervision and a "can-do" attitude A resilient professional who can thrive and navigate complex situations and evolving requirements
