About the Role
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Business Associate (BA) Program is an exciting pathway into our firm for graduating, undergraduate bachelor's students who are interested in the variety of career opportunities available in the investment management industry. This three-year program will help you gain insight into our industry, firm, and culture, as well as knowledge of the many different business divisions that support our investment functions.

As a Business Associate the program will help you to develop your business and technical skillset all while assimilating into the firm, your job and our culture. During the program, we will work alongside you to help you to discover your long- term fit here at the firm and placed into positions that are complementary to your skills, interests, and business needs. BAs have successfully transitioned into roles on their current BA teams, onto other teams in the firm and into other offices.

SUSTAINABILITY
As capital markets and client expectations evolve and change, we have seen increased client interest in sustainable investment practices and strategies. In concert with these shifts, Wellington has launched a number of initiatives, including starting new investment strategies and working groups focused on climate assessment, environmental, social, and governance ("ESG") integration, and impact investments.

The Sustainability Group aims to assist investors in researching and incorporating the impact of non-traditional financial issues, such as impact measurement and climate change, into our investment decisions. As asset managers, we invest in the world we live in. This means fully understanding and cultivating the long-term sustainability of a potential investment. In the long run, we believe that investments that foster a sustainable financial system will also be poised to benefit from it.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assessing the social and environmental impact of issuers across the investable universe Supporting research and process execution to meet commitments for impact funds Collaborating closely with the Impact Measurement & Monitoring (IMM), technology and investment teams to ensure accurate and consistent documentation of impact related key performance indicators (KPIs) and research informing the design of impact frameworks that support the integrity and efficiency of the investment process.

QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated interest in investment management Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Demonstrated accomplishments in academics Proven leadership experience and participation in community service and extracurricular activities
