Our Business Technology Services (BTS) team is looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join as a Business Change and Technology Project Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with senior project managers and a range of stakeholders to support the delivery of key business change projects across the Associated British Foods group.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the delivery of business change and technology projects through the full project lifecycle in line with governance frameworks.
Defining scope and schedules for smaller projects or workstreams, and assisting senior project managers on larger, more complex initiatives.
Monitoring project progress, maintaining RAID logs, and reporting on milestones to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Preparing progress reports and communicating updates to senior stakeholders, sponsors, and steering committees.
Collaborating as an active team member alongside technical, non-technical, and third-party partners.
Assisting with administrative and coordination tasks to support smooth project execution.
Managing stakeholder expectations and supporting communication plans for project deliverables.
Ensuring project benefits are captured, measured, and aligned with the original business case.
What You'll Bring:
Experience supporting business change and technology projects or workstreams, ideally within a matrix or federated environment.
Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches.
Effective communication skills, capable of translating complex project information for a variety of audiences.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
Ability to prioritise activities effectively in collaboration with senior project resources.
A problem-solving mindset, combining creative and pragmatic approaches.
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-evolving global technology service environment.
Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking, free drink facilities, free lunch option each day and a great team culture. Please note, this role may require occasional travel to ABF sites in the UK.
