Your Role: Business Consultant



As a Business Consultant, you'll be a partner and trusted advisor for our dental practice clients.You'll own the relationship with practice owners, managers, and clinicians - understanding their challenges, uncovering opportunities, and helping them run more efficient, profitable, and patient-focused practices.

You'll also play a key part in BF Mulholland's growth journey - contributing fresh thinking, market insights, and entrepreneurial energy to help shape our commercial strategy and elevate our brand.

What You'll Be Doing



Act as the primary consultant and sales partner for a defined customer base, managing relationships across all levels of dental practice teams, in-person and remotely Deliver consultative sales across the full BFM offering - including consumables, service contracts, handpiece repairs, and technical support. Analyse customer data and practice needs to identify growth opportunities, improve purchasing behaviour, and deliver tailored solutions. Project manage new business leads and practice onboarding - acting as the key stakeholder from first conversation through to full conversion. Use CRM tools effectively to manage activity, document insights, and track customer engagement. Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Engineering, Marketing, and Logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client experience. Attend local industry events, CPD seminars, and networking forums to represent BFM and build long-term visibility in the market. Support the development and execution of local marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement activities. Act as a market expert, staying ahead of industry trends, NHS/private developments, and competitor activity to provide proactive insights to customers and leadership

What You Bring



Proven success in B2B consultative sales, business development, or account management - ideally in dental, healthcare, pharma, or a related field. A customer-first mindset, with the ability to listen, advise, and influence at all levels of a practice. Strong commercial acumen, proactivity and a results-driven attitude - you're motivated by growth, not just activity. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Experience using CRM tools and sales data to drive action and decisions. Dental industry background or knowledge of clinical practice environments is a major plus. Ambition and drive to grow your career in a business that rewards initiative and high performance. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
