Business Data Administrator

Job Description

We're looking for a Business Data Administrator to join our team and help drive data quality, business insights, and system support across the organisation. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants to work with a variety of data tools, learn how core business systems operate, and develop valuable technical and business skills.

In this role, you'll work closely with colleagues across IT, Sales, Finance, and Operations to support our data platforms, reporting, and product pricing structures. You'll use tools like Power BI, Crystal Reports, SQL, and Excel, and help maintain and support our key business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).

What You'll Be Doing:



Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Crystal Reports to help teams make data-driven decisions. Ensuring data is clean, consistent, and reliable. Working with SQL data as well as prepare and maintain spreadsheets for various business needs, including data validation and analysis. Help support and maintain our core systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics F&O, working on data updates, troubleshooting, and user assistance. Assist users across the business with day-to-day queries related to data or system processes. Help structure, update, and maintain our product price lists, ensuring accurate information is available for customers and internal teams. Support updates to product data in our systems and help coordinate regular pricing reviews. Identify opportunities to improve how we collect, manage, and use data across the business. Contribute to small projects that enhance data processes or reporting capabilities.

What We're Looking For:



A genuine interest in working with data, business systems, and reporting tools. Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning). Good knowledge of Business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, and SQL. A methodical approach with strong attention to detail and a focus on data quality. Good communication skills to work effectively with different teams. A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in varied tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and techniques The ability to communicate with a wide variety on internal and external groups, including management. Comprehension of business processes and system which interact and utilise product information (Order Entry, Pricing, Manufacturing Operations, Dispatch etc)

Supervision



No direct people or budget responsibilities. You will be required to manage and supervise your own activities and work to project requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
