Kickstart your career in Sales & Business Development with Supply Chain Academy! We're looking for a motivated Apprentice to join our Business Development team. This exciting opportunity combines hands-on experience with structured training towards the Level 4 Sales Manager standard. From supporting client engagement and sales pipeline activity to marketing coordination and event organisation, you'll play an active role in driving our growth while developing the skills to build a successful career in sales and business development.

Key Duties:

Business Development & Sales Support

Research clients, suppliers, and markets. Update CRM and support sales pipeline activity. Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales documents. Assist with follow-ups, tender monitoring, and marketing materials. Gather performance data for sales activities.
Client & Account Management

Maintain contact lists and support client feedback surveys. Assist with welcome packs and client communications. Shadow senior staff in meetings to learn account management.
Marketing & Events

Support event planning, logistics, and materials. Manage guest lists, invitations, and post-event reporting. Contribute to social media and marketing content.
General Support & Development

Provide administrative and reception support. Liaise with teams for smooth client handovers. Represent the company professionally. Undertake training towards Level 4 Sales Manager qualification.

Key Requirements:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail when handling data, documents, and reports. Confident with Microsoft Office; willing to learn CRM and digital tools. Proactive problem-solver with a flexible, can-do attitude. Team player who collaborates effectively across departments. Adaptable, eager to learn, and open to feedback. Customer-focused with a professional approach at all times.
