Overview

My client is seeking to make an appointment to the role of Business Development Associate. This appointment is linked to our strategic plan to accelerate the growth of our culture change and communications consultancy.

Reporting to the Revenue Director, the role attracts a base salary of \xc2\xa326-34K per annum, plus variable compensation based on performance.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter and a fast learner. Working as part of an expanding sales team the Business Development Associate will provide sales and administrative support to the team.

We are in a period of growth and there are great opportunities for career development as the sales team within this business expands in the next 2-3 years.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Revenue Director, finding and developing potential sales leads for future business.
  • Manage incoming leads from our partner organisation, ensuring these leads are progressed through the sales pipeline in a timely manner.
  • Based on a targeted number of contacts per day, contact prospective clients, primarily through telephone but also some email and LinkedIn to generate interest and then invite them to a meeting to discuss in more detail what we do and how we can support the development of their health and safety culture.
  • Arrange meetings and calls on behalf of Account Directors.
  • Track all prospective client interactions through Salesforce.
  • Support the team though other tasks such as co-ordinating meetings and webinars, preparing information and managing client requests.
  • Conduct market research for new sales opportunities.
  • Provide general sales support for the sales team.
