Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Executive to help fuel our growth in the residential lift market. In this key role, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities, grow our customer base, and strengthen relationships with existing clients. Representing our high-quality home lift solutions with professionalism and integrity, you'll work closely with homeowners, architects, builders, and accessibility specialists. Your ability to understand customer needs and market trends will be essential in showcasing the value of our products and supporting our mission to enhance independent living through innovative lift solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of both existing and new customers.
Proactively self-generate leads through outbound and cold outreach across multiple channels.
Make 30-50 outbound calls per day to engage potential clients.
Develop new sales opportunities by researching and identifying leads.
Communicate with prospects to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and provide tailored solutions.
Successfully negotiate and close deals, managing varied terms and conditions.
Prepare and deliver professional presentations tailored to different audiences.
Track and report on pipeline performance and sales activity against targets.
Consistently work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Handle client objections and complaints with professionalism and problem-solving attitude.
Skills and Experience:
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to craft and deliver compelling sales presentations.
Proven ability to self-motivate and work independently to generate leads.
Results-driven, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent research and prospecting skills across a variety of platforms and tools.
Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
Curiosity and willingness to learn about clients, industries, and evolving markets.
Experience in a customer-facing or sales-focused environment.
Desirable
Additional languages for international client engagement.
Experience or knowledge in engineering or technical industries.
Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline reporting systems.
Prior experience working in a B2B sales or business development role.
Understanding of complex sales cycles or enterprise-level sales.
