Your Responsibilities




Responsible for reaching targets within your own small region, alongside supporting the larger regions owned by the Business Development Managers. To personally develop new and existing adviser relationships and seek adoption of Timeline as the core investment and platform proposition. Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential partnerships to drive growth. Ability to collate, manage and interpret large data sets to look for opportunities to promote the Timeline proposition and identify opportunities to add more assets into the business from new and existing clients. To prioritise, manage and organise your workload and processes to maximise your opportunities. Work with colleagues in Sales, Adviser Success, Investment Analyst, Product and IT teams to build trust with adviser firms.

An individual who wants to join a fast-paced, ambitious sales team as a Business Development Consultant, reporting to the Head of Sales. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their Sales career further, looking after a small region with your own individual targets.



Absolute must-haves:


Understanding of what financial advisers do and the financial planning process. Flexible mindset and ability to adapt existing skills to an evolving business and a willingness to learn. A natural 'intellectual curiosity' to research, dig deeper and suggest potential opportunities from new and potential clients. To have a naturally positive mindset and demonstrate high energy, resilience and determination. To be 'self managed' and able to set oneself stretching and challenging objectives. To have an understanding of the financial services eco system and working knowledge of the large distributors, networks, support providers and consolidators. To be collaborative and be an integral part of a high-performance culture within the team. To be comfortable in dealing with objections and turning them into opportunities. Motivated by being set stretching and challenging targets to achieve.
