Business Development Consultant North West

Manchester, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and uncovering growth opportunities? We're looking for a dynamic

Business Development Consultant

to help us expand our client base and strengthen relationships with key legal firms. This is your chance to make a real commercial impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

About the Role

As a Business Development Consultant, you'll be responsible for driving growth within a defined region. You'll work to secure new business from targeted law firms, while also managing a small number of high-value existing accounts where there's potential for growth or commercial risk.

You'll handle new client accounts through the initial engagement, onboarding and early-stage account management, ensuring a smooth transition to our Internal Account Management Team or continue managing them where it makes strategic sense.

Working closely with our marketing, business development, and internal account teams, you'll use a combination of white space analysis, relationship mapping, and market intelligence to develop and execute regionally focused strategies. You'll follow a structured sales playbook and utilise our CRM to build a data bank of qualified leads, prioritising the top 1,000 law firms across the UK.

Your efforts won't stop at the sale. You'll be involved in onboarding, supporting adoption of our platform, and identifying additional revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships.

About You

You'll need a full UK driver's licence and access to your own vehicle, as the role involves regular travel to meet clients and attend events.

You're an energetic and self-motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of the full sales cycle and customer lifecycle. Your background includes consistent success in hitting and exceeding revenue targets, and you're just as comfortable sourcing new business as you are managing existing client relationships.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Your approach is consultative, professional, and always focused on delivering value to clients.

You'll ideally have experience in the legal or conveyancing sector and are familiar with how law firms operate. A solid grasp of CRM systems, social platforms, and campaign-led demand generation will set you up for success in this role.

Analytical and commercially astute, you're confident using data to qualify prospects and shape your sales approach. You're collaborative by nature, enjoy sharing insights with your team, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

If you're looking to take ownership of your region, build long-lasting client partnerships, and work with a supportive team in a business with ambitious growth plans, we'd love to hear from you.
