Main Purpose



Genmed support the NHS by providing managed services which reduce costs, improve efficiency, and have a positive impact on the delivery of patient care. Genmed has a consistent track record of winning as evidenced by the exceptional growth of 700% over the last five years. We have over 200 contracts within 40 NHS Trusts across the UK.

The Business Development Coordinator provides key support across Genmed's commercial function, assisting in the delivery of supplier communications and relationships, tender submissions, brand awareness, CRM tracking, and commercial content activity.

This is a dynamic and varied role suited to a highly organised and proactive team player. You'll contribute to winning bids, support market engagement, building key supplier relationships, diary management and help the commercial function run smoothly as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Opportunity Management

Monitor platforms for new opportunities Refer and evaluate tenders for strategic fit Assist with tender preparation, formatting, and submission Maintain bid library and framework tracker
Supplier Engagement

Schedule and support supplier meetings Prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up on actions Maintain accurate supplier contact records in CRM Track supplier specialities and align with tender needs
Commercial Support

Coordinate internal contributions for tenders Log outcomes and lessons learned Support monthly commercial meetings with data and summaries Monitor inboxes and social platforms for market intelligence Support social media projects
General Coordination

Assist with new business launches and events Conduct competitor research and scanning Support brand awareness and content monitoring Help meet departmental KPIs and CRM targets
What You'll Bring

Strong organisational and communication skills Experience in tender process Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Comfortable working across teams and with external partners Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

People Management



This role currently has no direct reports.

Work Environment



This role is office based at Genmed House in Cwmbran NP44 3GA. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
