We are looking for an experienced
Business Development & Customer Success Executive
to join our Leeds HQ. This role is designed for someone who is friendly and charismatic, customer-focused, and eager to grow into a future management role within customer success. You'll work directly with our Business Development Manager while acting as the day-to-day point of contact for barbers, salons, and distributors worldwide.
Role Purpose
This position is critical to expanding Crazy Bull's professional customer base and strengthening loyalty among existing clients. You'll be responsible for lead generation, sample follow-ups, customer engagement, and retention across the UK, EU, and USA. It's a dual role -- part business development, part customer service -- designed for someone who thrives on building relationships and turning interest into growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Research and engage new barbershops, salons, and distributors through social media, Faire.com, and direct outreach.
Follow up on sample pack recipients to convert them into new customers.
Post and send targeted promotional mailers to prospects who haven't yet converted.
Maintain CRM records, logging opportunities and tracking progress.
Support international distributor development by staying in contact with partners and sharing product updates.
Customer Success & Relationship Management
Respond to customer inquiries quickly via WhatsApp, ManyChat, social media DMs, phone, and email (within 2 hours during business hours).
Keep customers engaged with updates on product launches, promotions, and events.
Re-engage lapsed customers (no orders in 3+ months) with personalised outreach and offers.
Track satisfaction trends, escalate recurring issues, and suggest solutions to the leadership team.
Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all communications, building trust and loyalty.
Event Support & Brand Representation
Support the Business Development Manager at barber shows, exhibitions, and small events.
Coordinate sampling campaigns and promotional activities for events.
Identify new opportunities for direct engagement with barbers and salons.
What We're Looking For
3+ years in business development, customer success, or account management (experience in beauty/grooming/barbering a bonus).
Strong communication skills. Comfortable on the phone, email, and social media.
Highly organised with experience using CRMs.
Ambitious and motivated to grow into a management role in 12 months or less.
Flexible, positive, and excited to represent a fast-moving lifestyle brand.
