We are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Director to help drive their next phase of growth. You will take ownership of business development strategy and execution within a specialist manufacturing environment, working closely with technical, engineering and operational teams. The business is experiencing strong momentum and is seeking someone with energy, ambition and a genuine appetite to build.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute business development strategy across new and existing markets
• Build, manage and convert a strong sales pipeline using modern CRM and sales tools
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within a highly technical manufacturing environment
• Engage credibly with scientific, engineering and senior commercial stakeholders
• Drive revenue growth through a proactive, hands-on sales approach
• Provide insight into market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning
• Work closely with internal technical teams to shape compelling, viable commercial propositions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in a senior business development or commercial leadership role
• Proven success managing complex sales cycles and high-value opportunities
• Experience within RNA manufacturing, life sciences manufacturing, or closely related sectors
• A scientific or engineering background (or strong technical understanding) is highly desirable
• Comfortable using CRM systems and standard sales & pipeline management tools
• Highly driven, ambitious and self-motivated
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical detail into commercial value
