This is an opportunity to join a brand new workplace wellbeing app on a mission to transform how companies support their staff's mental and physical health. We're now looking for a Business Development Director to lead our commercial launch and for the right person, you'll have the chance to shape the future of the business from day one.

This opportunity is beyond that of a normal role - it's the chance to lead, innovate and shape the business from the ground up.

The Role



You'll be the head of all things growth. From shaping our launch strategy to developing the early client base and building out a sales team. The right candidate will be the strategic leader in bringing the app to market and optimising for long term success.

Key Responsibilities:



Launch strategy: Define and execute our go-to-market plan. Sales leadership: Win new business with employers of all sizes - from SMEs to large blue chip multinationals. Partnerships: Secure strategic alliances that maximise our reach. Team building: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team as we grow. Customer insight: Manage real feedback to ensure product excellence. Brand champion: Represent the company at events and within the HR and wellbeing space.

About You



We are looking for a commercially inclined self-starter who's not afraid to get stuck in and lead from the front. You'll need a mix of hands-on sales ability and big-picture thinking.

You'll bring:



A proven track record in B2B business development: Ideally in SaaS, HR tech, or wellness. Natural sales instincts: Ability to open doors, build rapport, and close deals. Strategic thinking: You can spot opportunities and build pipelines that convert. Entrepreneurial mindset: You're resilient, proactive, and excited by a fast-paced startup environment. Leadership potential: You've got the skills and ambition to build and effectively manage a team under you. Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels. A genuine interest in tech and wellbeing. Experience working in a hybrid environment.
