Following a period of strong growth, we're expanding our Sales & Marketing team and are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven

Business Development Director

to help us take our Facilities Management offering to the next level.



This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you'll play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities across a range of sectors. You'll be responsible for developing relationships, responding to live proposals, and contributing directly to the team's overall sales success.



Key Responsibilities:





Maintain and develop a wide network of contacts within the market, building relationships in the designated marketplace to ensure the Company is invited to as many tenders as possible Have the ability to bid, single, bundled or TFM opportunities across one or all service lines Represent the Company at all OCS Group meetings as required and to secure new business and build intercompany networks Ensure a robust selection process is applied to all opportunities, considering capability, references, margin and competitiveness Ensure that all tender responses are innovative, accurate, compliant, timely and professionally presented Prepare and deliver all other aspects of the strategic sales process including awareness campaigns, presentations, exhibitions and general market collateral Work alongside the sector marketing lead to develop a strategy, marketing material and collateral to support focussed sales approach Prepare and undertake a thorough hand-over to operational colleagues once each contract is secured using the Company's ISO procedures Assist with the collection, collation and recording of all statistical data for tender compilation, such as productivity ratings, margins and costs through Salesforce Keep abreast of the current market conditions and competitor activity Follow up and provide feedback on sales leads and tender opportunities Constantly up to date with all new industry innovations for inclusion in tender responses Maintain a wide network of internal and external colleagues to develop sales opportunities

What we are looking for:





Proven experience in Business Development within the Facilities Management sector. Advanced Microsoft Suite knowledge is essential along with the ability to interpret and analyse data. Ability to communicate clearly in all forms, especially written proposals Strong, effective and competent communicator and presenter Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with clients and work colleagues. Flexible and agile in approach
