About the role...:

Our CP Wealth team is growing fast, and we're expanding our Northern client portfolio. We're on the hunt for an ambitious Business Development Director to lead growth across the North.

This senior-level role blends strategic market thinking with hands-on business development -- shaping regional go-to-market activity and building strong networks to accelerate growth across the North. You'll report to our Director of Growth and be based in the North West, with occasional national travel.

About the day to day...

As a Business Development Director, you'll lead the charge in the North, driving the BD strategy, identifying opportunities and making the region your own. Day to day, you can expect to:

Lead Northern go-to-market activity, working with central marketing to deliver aligned campaigns, events, and regional visibility. Represent CP Wealth at regional client events, networking sessions, and market-facing activities, ensuring strong follow-up. Maintain an accurate pipeline, providing regular insight, updates, and market intelligence. Build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, referral partners, and professional networks Develop and execute regional growth plans, track performance, and adjust strategies to keep us ahead Work with Relationship Managers, marketing, and leadership to deliver a seamless client experience Ensure all BD activities meet regulatory standards and company policies

As a Business Development Director, you should;

Motivated. Organised. Charismatic and engaging manner with an ability to create rapport with and influence key decision makers Commercial awareness and an understanding how to adapt and tailor your style to different people and audiences Effective communications skills both verbal and written (with a focus on competitive positioning) Experienced in business development with a background in Wealth Management/Financial Planning Proven ability to work under pressure and smash targets Regional or location management experience
