Job Summary:

Berkeley Mcrock Shepherd is a professional UK accountancy and tax practice. We are seeking a

Client Development Executive

to support the growth of the firm by introducing suitable clients for our accounting and tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

Introduce new clients for: Bookkeeping & management accounts Corporate Tax compliance and advisory Self Assessment (individuals, directors, landlords) VAT registration, returns, and MTD compliance Engage with business owners, directors, and individuals to understand their accounting and tax requirements Assess client suitability and service needs prior to onboarding Work closely with accountants and tax advisers to scope services accurately Support client onboarding in line with AML and compliance requirements Maintain accurate records of client introductions and progress Build long-term professional relationships aligned with firm standards

Requirements:

Strong communication skills and a professional manner

Organised, structured, and detail-focused approach Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment

Desirable:

Experience within an accountancy, tax, financial, or legal services firm Basic understanding of UK accounting or tax services (VAT, Corporate Tax, Self Assessment) Existing SME or professional network
