Roles & Responsibilities
New Business Development
Proactively generate leads through cold outreach, email, social campaigns, networking, and referrals.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects across Zudu's target verticals.
Nurture opportunities through consultative engagement, from the first conversation to a signed contract.
Market Research & Sector Intelligence
Research industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide insights that inform outreach and positioning.
Build account intelligence on target businesses, mapping decision makers, influencers, and commercial triggers.
Client Engagement
Engage with senior stakeholders (C-suite, Directors, Heads of Digital/Innovation) to understand challenges and priorities.
Position Zudu's AI enablement, product development, and tech modernisation services as solutions to business-critical problems.
Support proposal development and work alongside the Commercial Director on pitch preparation.
Events & Networking
Represent Zudu at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as both attendee and exhibitor.
Act as an ambassador for our brand, creating positive first impressions and building long-term relationships.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the Commercial Director and Marketing team to align outreach with campaigns and positioning.
Provide accurate activity reports and insight into pipeline health.
Contribute feedback from the market into marketing campaigns and account strategy.
Strategic Focus
Target enterprise-scale clients with potential for multi-year partnerships.
Spot opportunities to scale Zudu's footprint across departments, divisions, and geographies.
Support upsell and cross-sell initiatives in collaboration with account managers.
Experience & Skills
Experience in B2B sales (ideally software, digital transformation or consulting).
Track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales quotas or KPIs.
Commercial Acumen
Strong understanding of business drivers, ROI, and technology's role in transformation.
Comfortable discussing both technical and commercial benefits with senior stakeholders.
Communication & Influence
Exceptional communicator with confidence in presenting, pitching, and negotiating.
Ability to build rapport quickly and foster trusted, long-term relationships.
