In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, reviewing existing opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and enhancing our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the sales process and have experience within the construction industry, particularly drainage or groundworks and effectively manage client interactions and track progress.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the marketing team and business director to create strategies that promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our offerings and value proposition.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Utilise our CRM systems to track leads, manage client interactions, and report on sales performance metrics.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and represent the company.
Experience
Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a related industry as mentioned previous.
Strong understanding of software solutions, with hands-on experience using Salesforce as a CRM tool.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
