Sumillion is growing fast. We're an award-winning, sustainability-led IT reseller working across data centre, cloud, networking, security, and modern infrastructure. We partner with leading vendors, deliver for our clients, and invest properly in our people.
We're now looking for a Business Development Executive to help drive the next stage of our growth, with a focus on ISG and data centre solutions.
This is an important hire. You'll have autonomy, responsibility, and support. You'll be trusted to build pipeline, represent Sumillion with customers, and shape opportunities that matter.
What you'll be doing
Building and owning your own client base through outreach, referrals, and meetings
Managing sales cycles from first conversation through to close
Speaking with customers to genuinely understand on-prem challenges and future plans
Working closely with our cloud and technical teams to design the identify the solutions
Identifying cross-sell opportunities across data centre, cloud, networking, and security
Contributing ideas to campaigns, go-to-market plans, and how we sell
Working directly with vendors and distributors to win business
Consistently hitting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets
You'll be on the phone. You'll be in meetings. You'll be learning fast. This role suits someone who wants responsibility and is comfortable earning it.
What we're looking for
We're open to people from different backgrounds and experiences. What matters is capability, curiosity, and integrity.
Around 2+ years' experience in IT sales (VAR, MSP, or distribution)
Experience selling infrastructure such as servers, storage, cloud, or networking
Confident with cold outreach, but stronger at building long-term relationships
Comfortable learning technical concepts quickly and asking good questions
Commercially sharp, organised, and accountable
Someone who listens properly, not someone who talks over people
Motivated to help shape a business, not just ride along

What you'll get
Base salary from 27,000 (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission with realistic 70-75k+ OTE
