We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team, supporting the Business Development Manager in driving sales of service contracts, dental engineering services, and dental equipment.
Key Objectives:
To monitor service contracts, booking required servicing and ensuring high levels of service to maintain a high renewal rate
To proactively book off-site appointments for the BDM
Achieve and exceed monthly KPIs through strategic business development initiatives
Person Specification:
Likely to be early in their career or recently out of education
Keen to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility over time; this role is ideal for someone eager to develop into a Business Development Manager or similar client-facing role in the future
Articulate, with good spelling and grammar & an eye for detail. You'll be confident drafting professional emails and handling live conversations
Strong geographical awareness to help book and cluster appointments
You should have a working knowledge of Excel
Comfortable making outbound calls to book appointments
A genuine desire to help customers, solve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience
Down-to-earth, level-headed, and quick to grasp what needs doing
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to maintain a positive disposition and be effective at work even when under pressure
Possession of a polite, thoughtful, and friendly attitude

Responsibilities required to meet Key Objectives:
Account Management support
Business Development - appointment making for the Business Development Manager
Ensure efficient geographical planning
Inbound and outgoing calls to potential clients
Schedule service bookings for service contract holders
Monitor renewal timelines
Identify lapsed clients and re-engage old customers
Complaint handling
Prepare and send out ad-hoc and service contract quotes
Set up and manage direct debits
Liaise directly with the procurement team to ensure parts and kits are readily available and allocated to servicing jobs
Always adhere to the brand standards
Handle any complaints where possible and escalate through the appropriate channels when necessary
Collect and enter all relevant information on the CRM/ERP system for new customers and update existing accounts.
Assist the Client Relations Hub team in busy times with incoming service queries
Follow up on engineer visits with service contract holders
Attend internal meetings
Own transport is essential as our Horsham office is not on a train or bus route.
