Role Overview
As a
Business Development Associate
, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and building strategic partnerships. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to execute our go-to-market strategy. This role would benefit from a deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to translate client needs into scalable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across target markets
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools and strategic outreach
Negotiate and close B2B deals with enterprise clients, fintech, banks, real estate and other partners
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align offerings with market needs
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Provide market and competitive intelligence to influence product roadmap and strategy
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Requirements
2-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably in, financial services, Crypto, Blockchain or start ups.
Proven track record of hitting revenue targets and building lasting business relationships
Strong understanding of trends, technologies, and regulatory environments
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter with high energy, a growth mindset, and the ability to work independently
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Nice to Have
Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
Existing network in the fintech or financial services sector
Familiarity with APIs, digital wallets, payment systems, or embedded finance solutions
