We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented Telemarketer/Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new business opportunities by making a high volume of outbound calls and setting appointments for our sales representative. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, working to meet strict KPIs and targets, while building a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Appointment Setting:
Make a high volume of outbound calls to potential clients to introduce our products/services.
Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to identify needs and present solutions.
Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team with key decision-makers.
KPI & Target Management:
Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs, including calls made, appointments scheduled, and lead conversion rates.
Regularly track and report performance metrics to management.
Continuously seek to improve conversion rates and effectiveness.
KPI & Target Management:
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead information in the CRM system.
Ensure that prospect and customer data is up to date and accurately reflects ongoing communication.
Market Research & Lead Qualification:
Research and identify potential business opportunities and target markets.
Qualify leads to ensure they meet the criteria required for the sales team to engage effectively.
Relationship Building:
Build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospects over the phone.
Be the first point of contact, offering excellent customer service and answering any questions about our offerings.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of leads and appointment details.
Participate in regular meetings with the sales team to share insights and discuss strategies for lead generation.
Customer Service Support:
Provide initial information and support to potential clients during phone calls, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our products and services.
Continuous Improvement:
Offer feedback to the management team on areas of improvement in the telemarketing and lead generation process.
Participate in training sessions to improve calling techniques and sales processes.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in telemarketing, sales, or business development. Experience working with KPIs and hitting targets is essential.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects quickly.
Persistence & Resilience:
A positive attitude and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining motivation to meet targets.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
CRM Proficiency:
Familiarity with using CRM systems to manage and track calls, leads, and appointments.
Goal-Oriented:
Ability to stay focused on goals and consistently meet or exceed KPIs.
KPIs:
Number of outbound calls made daily/weekly/monthly.
Number of qualified appointments set for sales representatives.
Conversion rate from calls to appointments.
Adherence to call scripts and customer engagement guidelines.
