ThermalCyclones exist to solve one of industry's biggest challenges: how to deliver the heat that powers our world - without the carbon, the cost, or the compromise. We are looking to completely disrupt and decarbonise the industrial heat space. We looking to scale our operation quickly in a mission to have a green impact on the planet on the scale of fusion or solar.
Industrial heat consumes 22% of the global energy and produces 20% of the world's CO2, more than aviation and shipping combined, we have a technology that can displace over half of this market, due to ground-breaking improvement in efficiency that other technologies can't match, and which cross over several key commercial and operational thresholds for our customers that the competition haven't been able to viably approach.
We're a small team of engineers, scientists, and innovators, now looking for our first commercial hire. You will shape how we take our technology to market and build relationships that turn innovation into adoption.

About the Role:
As our Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead, you will play a defining role in our commercial journey, from identifying markets and early adopters to building relationships, closing deals, and laying the foundation for scalable growth.
You'll work side-by-side with the founders to craft and execute our commercial strategy, test hypotheses in the market, and translate technical innovation into business traction. This is a unique opportunity to build the GTM function from scratch in a deep tech company determined to make a global impact and decarbonize heat.
Key Responsibilities:
Your Mission
: To grow revenue through direct contact with customers, and progress buyers from Awareness to Adoption with Measurable Impact and delivering a Customer Success Journey that cultivates Reference Customers.
To deliver on this mission your role will include:
Market Discovery: Identify and map potential markets, buyers, and decision-making processes.
ICP Definition: Define our ideal customer profile (ICP) and understand the full buyer's journey,
Own the Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end business development: prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, closing deals from Awareness to Adoption with Measurable Impact and delivering a Customer Success Journey that cultivates Reference Customers.
Value Proposition Development, including ROI models and positioning Reference Customers and their Case Studies.
Sales Enablement, such as Playbook development including messaging, outreach, pricing, and engagement strategies that can scale globally.
Global Market Expansion: Evaluate and prioritize international opportunities, adapting approaches to fit local market dynamics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the engineering/product team to align technology capabilities with customer needs and feedback.
Continuous Learning: Analyse performance and market data to refine processes, improve conversion, and inform go-to-market strategy.
Voice of the Customer: Represent customer insights across the company to ensure our technology and communications resonate with real-world needs.
Partnership Building: Develop strategic partnerships and alliances that accelerate market entry and strengthen our positioning.
Required Qualifications:
+5 years of experience in B2B business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally in industrial, energy, or deep-tech sectors.
A solid understanding of sales processes, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) mapping, and the buyer's journey and how to tailor outreach and messaging
Comfort operating in early-stage and ambiguous environments, being proactive, hands-on, and eager to experiment.
A balance of strategic thinking and commercial drive, able to go from building a plan to making the first call.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in an international context, being comfortable working across markets, cultures, and industries.
A passion for climate technology and deep-tech innovation.
Ability to amplify and accelerate progress with appropriate applications of AI tooling and CRMs
Ability to work in London, working closely with the founders
Fluency in English
