MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY:
Generating and managing a pipeline of good quality incoming opportunities aligned with the company's core and target markets.
Attending client and consultant meetings and ensuring follow up actions are undertaken.
Responding to high levels of incoming e mail correspondence and phone traffic in relation to potential upcoming schemes.
Liaising with respective divisional pre-construction teams in relation to incoming tenders and other opportunities. Acting as a critical point of contact for the pre-construction function in relation to business development activity.
Assisting with regular internal pipeline review meetings including preparation of reports for presentation.
Undertaking research linked to projects, market opportunities and other focus areas.
Assisting with the organisation and execution of business development focused events, networking and trade shows.
Working with the Framework and Partnership Manager to raise the profile of Speller Metcalfe in existing and new markets.
Maintaining comprehensive records on the company CRM system.
Supporting the Framework and Partnership Manager with framework related activity
