About the Role
This is a consultative sales role focused on securing sponsorship and exhibition deals for our market-leading events. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering tailored sponsorship packages that offer real value.
You'll be working directly with senior stakeholders and industry experts, selling solutions that help them stand out at our events.
Key Responsibilities
Research and develop new industry sectors and client lists
Build and manage your own sales pipeline and CRM database
Generate leads and convert them through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement
Hold consultative sales conversations with senior-level decision-makers
Create bespoke sponsorship proposals that align with client objectives
Manage existing client accounts and build long-term partnerships
Attend and deliver on-site at our conferences, supporting client success
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation and campaign performance
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of work experience (in sales or a commercial role preferred, but not essential)
Excellent communication skills--confident and persuasive on the phone, in email, and in meetings
A target-driven mindset with a hunger to succeed and earn commission
Highly organised with good attention to detail and time management
A natural relationship-builder who enjoys working with people
Comfortable researching new sectors and speaking with senior professionals
Entrepreneurial spirit--proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware
