Overall Purpose of the Job:
The Business Development Manager will spearhead the restaurant's growth agenda by expanding market reach, driving customer engagement, and developing strategic partnerships. The role focuses on boosting revenue, enhancing brand positioning, and identifying new commercial opportunities across dine-in, takeaway, events, and catering.
This is a pivotal leadership role designed to maximise customer acquisition, retention, and overall profitability, while strengthening Muzo's brand visibility within Aberdeen and beyond.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:
Specific Main Duties
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase restaurant revenue and customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, suppliers, and partners.
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual targets.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to create effective business plans.
Oversee promotional campaigns, partnerships, and events to boost brand visibility and restaurant traffic.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with vendors and partners to maximise profitability.
Work closely with the restaurant management team to improve customer experience and service quality.
Monitor service performance and prepare regular reports for management review.
Train and guide staff on service techniques, customer engagement, and upselling strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
