Job Description

Are you a driven freight forwarding sales professional looking to take the next step? Do you have strong experience in ocean or air freight solutions and a passion for building lasting client relationships?

We are a well-established and growing logistics company with an international reach, specialising in bespoke freight forwarding services. As we expand our UK sales team, we're looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to help grow our air and ocean freight customer base across the South and beyond.

The Role:



Proactively identify, target, and win new business in air and ocean freight sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and retailers. Work closely with internal operations and pricing teams to deliver tailored solutions. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations. Attend client visits, industry networking events, and trade shows to drive brand visibility. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting.

The Ideal Candidate:



Proven track record in B2B sales within the freight forwarding industry. Strong understanding of international logistics, particularly ocean and/or air freight. Confident negotiator with a consultative approach to sales. Self-motivated and target-driven with excellent communication skills. Able to manage their own sales pipeline and schedule effectively. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-75,000.00 per year
