Salary:

27,000 - 35,000 basic + commission

OTE:

40,000+ (uncapped)

Location:

Blackburn (office-based during training, then national field role)

business and are hiring a Business Development Officer to bring new organisations on board nationwide.

You'll target organisations that require DBS checks and employment screening, including:

Education & training providers Care, health & social care Recruitment & staffing agencies Facilities management & security Transport, logistics & infrastructure Charities, housing & local services Large multi-site employers
Your role

Win new B2B clients nationally Open and close corporate accounts Deliver confident corporate and stakeholder presentations Attend networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions Build long-term commercial relationships Work closely with internal operations and compliance teams to onboard clients quickly
Commission & earnings

Uncapped commission Strong recurring revenue per client High repeat usage once onboarded Realistic

What you need

Proven B2B business development experience Comfortable selling into regulated or compliance-led sectors Strong corporate presentation skills Confident networker at events and exhibitions Target-driven, commercially sharp Full UK driving licence
