Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Croydon with flexibility for some remote work. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with potential clients, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of market trends and competitors.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close business opportunities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the fire and security industry is preferred
The successful candidate will be able to;
competently Design and sell Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting Systems with an open mind to other fire safety systems.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients.
Prepare, evaluate and present estimates
Record and follow up all estimates submitted to client.
To gather, evaluate and inform on customer feedback.
To communicate and liaise with the sales / management team
