Role Overview
Develop new business across facilities management, managing agents, and property owners for electrical services including fixed wire testing, lighting, fire alarms, access control, EV charging, and energy-saving projects.
Build trusted client relationships through regular face-to-face meetings, fully understanding their portfolio needs to identify new opportunities.
Leverage existing service relationships in related facilities sectors to cross-sell electrical solutions.
Manage a pipeline of qualified leads, prepare proposals, respond to tenders, negotiate contracts, and deliver profitable growth.
Represent the business at client meetings, trade events, and networking forums.
Ideal Candidate
Proven track record in B2B business development or sales within facilities management, property services, or electrical/ME sectors.
Successful experience managing facilities management or managing agent accounts.
Strong commercial acumen around pricing, margin, and tendering.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a client-facing, field-based role.
Qualifications in electrical, engineering, or business are beneficial but not essential.
