The Role
Almac Pharma Services is an established, world leading outsourcing partner to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The company provides tailored, quality-led and timely solutions from early and late phase pharmaceutical development, clinical and commercial drug product manufacture, product launch through to commercial packaging and global distribution.
As Business Development Manager, you will use your exemplary customer service and sales skills to prospect and develop new business opportunities, effectively manage business relationships, and maximise revenue into the business. You will represent Almac Pharma Services at exhibitions and conferences, promoting the company profile to key and target clients. You will work to meet or exceed sales targets, build and maintain a pipeline of new business, and identify and develop new sales strategies.
This role offers frequent opportunities for international travel within your designated region.

What we're looking for:
Ideal candidates will hold a degree level qualification in a Life Sciences or Business Management subject, along with previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
We're looking for someone with experience and previous success within a Business Development, Client/Account Management, Proposal Management or Technical Project Management role. Applicants with significant experience in a manufacturing or analytical role within drug product manufacturing and/or packaging services may also be considered. Effective negotiation skills, and a demonstrable working knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and/or commercial manufacturing/packaging are essential.
This role requires international travel and coverage beyond normal working hours as and when required.
