About Spotlight Sound
We're an Essex-based event production and AV installation company. Two core divisions:
Events: staging, sound and lighting for corporate events and live shows
Installations: sound, lighting and video systems for pubs, bars, clubs, schools, churches and venues
We complete around a thousand jobs a year, built on strong delivery and repeat custom. We're now looking to formalise an outbound sales function.
The opportunity
Build and run an effective sales engine. You'll own pipeline, outreach and reporting, with HubSpot as the centre of gravity. Your time will be focused on three area:
Turning past installs into annual service contracts
Prospecting and closing new installation and event projects
Winning new venue partnerships

What you'll do
Own HubSpot: set up pipelines, tasks, sequences, automations and reporting
Prospect daily: calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach
Convert past installs to recurring service contracts with timed follow-ups and renewals
Build a targeted list of venues, approach decision-makers and secure preferred/exclusive agreements
Work with the team to scope and progress opportunities to close
Keep partners and key accounts warm with regular check-ins and simple updates
Maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence (everything tasked in HubSpot, not memory)
Report weekly on activity, pipeline movement and results

Clean, working HubSpot board with tasks, sequences and simple workflows live
Prioritised list in play and outreach underway
Rolling post-event and post-install follow-ups generating reviews, renewals and service agreements
Clear weekly dashboard: calls, meetings, proposals, pipeline value and wins
About you
Essential
5+ years' B2B sales or business development experience
Confident, phone-first prospector with end-to-end pipeline ownership
Hands-on CRM user (HubSpot preferred): pipelines, tasks, sequences and automations
Fanatic organisation, personable communication, and a tidy, methodical approach
Comfortable setting targets and being measured against them
Nice to have
Experience in events, AV, hospitality or venues
Familiarity with Lean/process improvement
