As part of our expansion plans, the Card Acquiring Division of G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group - Vpayments and Shift4, are currently seeking to recruit individuals for the position of Business Development Manager for the UK, to be based in London. Vpayments is a strategic Business Partner of Worldline for the UK, Cyprus and other EU countries. Shift4 is an American based acquirer, listed on the NYSE and a global leader in financial technology.

The selected candidates will report to the Sales Manager in the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities



Prospecting and selling merchant services, following the complete sales cycle to SMEs, medium sized businesses and corporate chains across all sectors.

New business development and network expansion.

Manage existing accounts and develop sales leads within the allocated territory.

Work closely with a cross divisional team to maximize sales.

Work closely with the on-boarding team to provide KYC and AML Customer Data.

Grow portfolio performance ensuring business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications



A very good understating of the Card Acquiring Business.

Minimum 2 years of B2B field sales experience.

Knowledge and experience within payments or insurance industry.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and sales targets.

Passionate in growing within the company and committed to results.

Training of clients and on-going client support.

Managing a customer base within a designated territory.

Build strong and long term relationship with agents to ensure agent loyalty, transaction and revenue growth.

Excellent command of English language. Speakers of an additional language will be an advantage.

Computer office skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Able to multi-task and work under pressure.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Able to work independently and as well as within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year
